On November 23, the China Sinochem High-Performance Civil Aviation Tire Innovation Achievement Release and Industry Chain Cooperation Promotion Conference was held in Guilin, Guangxi.
The conference was attended by several key figures, including Zhou Jiabin, Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Regional People's Congress and Party Secretary of Guilin, Hu Fan, Vice Chairman of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, Li Fanrong, Chairman and Party Secretary of China Sinochem, He Dongfeng, Chairman and Party Secretary of COMAC (Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China), Zhang Liqiu, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and President of Xi'an Jiaotong University, and Li Chu, Mayor of Guilin.
At the conference, it was announced that China’s first civil aviation tire production line has been fully constructed and is now in operation.
The production line covers an area of nearly 50,000 square meters and is equipped with more than 80 pieces of advanced machinery. It is also China’s first digitalized aviation tire factory, with an intelligent manufacturing level that meets world-class standards.
The line has an annual production capacity of 100,000 tires, with the ability to produce 12 specifications covering six aircraft models. This production line will meet 40% of China’s current annual demand for civil aviation tires.
During the event, China Sinochem signed strategic cooperation agreements with COMAC and China Southern Airlines. Additionally, Guilin Lanyu, a subsidiary of China Sinochem, signed agreements with China Eastern Airlines, Guilin Airlines, and Ruili Airlines.
